Many things have changed the very moment we started using android phones. But there is something that has not changed at all, from the moment we were using those thick little keypad phones up to this day, wherein everyone uses thin big iPhones and smartphones. You should be wondering now what is it. For sure, each of us, for at least once in our lives, has accidentally sent something to someone which should not be. Or we sure have sent something to a random number wherein we just miss the one number out of those many.
Well, this teenage girl Sydney Uselton experienced the latter. What was worse was that she even sent a photo to that particular “wrong number”. Apparently, she was supposedly asking her friend if her dress was good for a certain event she was attending. She felt horrible the moment she realized that she accidentally sent those photos to a strange person! But the person’s response, on the other hand, made her day. Tony Wood from Tennessee has received her message on a random day. And his response has gone viral after Sydney and her friend Mandi Miller posted it. Tony responded:
“I believe this message was intended for someone else. My wife isn’t home, so I couldn’t get her opinion, but the kids and I think you look stunning in your dress! You should definitely go with that one!”
Tony recalled what happened in an interview with Bored Panda, saying:
“I thought, let’s try and make this young lady’s day… I figured that the children’s response would accomplish that substantially better than some middle-aged overweight bald guy!”
However, the story did not end there. The Twitter world realized that there were only five out of six of his children in the photo he sent back. Now, he openly said that his wife and his four-year-old son was away for the treatment for Kaizler’s leukemia. Someone then shared his GoFundMe page online and he started receiving donations for Kaizler. Their target was just $10,000, but they have managed to raise more than $41,000. Tony could not contain his gratitude towards those random people. He just responded to Sydney’s message just to make her day, but God surely knows every little thing we need. He then sincerely thanked everyone, saying:
“Hello everyone… First and foremost, I wanted to thank everyone SO MUCH for their kindness and generosity. God continues to show us He is there for us and it is awesome to see His love move!
With that said, we have more than TRIPLED our goal! Our needs to get back on our feet have been met! We can’t thank you enough, but any further donations are unnecessary!
Again, we can’t thank you enough for all of the love and support you have shown our family! You have provided more than enough and we will be forever grateful to all of you!
God bless and have a wonderful day!”
He concluded his interview with Bored Panda with another good news, saying:
“Kaizler is doing well. We still have about a little over a year worth of treatments to go. He really wanted to try going to Kindergarten, so we gave that a shot, but he was getting sick way too often and had several hospitalizations.”
