Getting married is a lifetime commitment. You vow to offer your life to your other half for the rest of your lives. While many people fail to fulfill their commitment to their spouse, this elderly man sure does know his very reason for living. This story will make you realize that everything is worth it if it is for your loved ones, especially to your spouse.
While many men are aloof with the very thought of salons and any other “girly things,” this elderly husband, Andrew had one special business to attend to in the salon. Apparently, this man’s wife, Theresa had a stroke and lost a lot of her mobility, and there are a bunch of things she already could not do. Part of those was tending to her hair or her appearance in general. We all know how women are so fascinated with hair, its color, its style and everything about it. For the most part of it, it seems like hair is an essential part of women. And he then decided to go to a salon to perfect the hairstyle that her wife would probably want to have.
A salon staff who was in-charge for the elderly woman’s hair and the elderly man’s ‘hair lessons’ were more than astounded to see a couple love each other so dearly, without hesitations and without conditions. The hairstylist then shared what kind of love she witnessed, to the Love What Matters Facebook page the very moment she got home.
“Proof that true love really exists…
She can no longer style her hair herself and her husband insisted on learning how to do it for her step by step. From products to the way you hold the brush and dryer.
Truly one of the best things I have been able to witness in my life. Brought tears to my eyes… What an amazing man and what a lucky woman. Bless them.”
This amazing husband spent hours and hours just learning to do his wife’s hair. And with the limitation of her wife’s capability now, it seems like this was one added responsibility to the elderly man. But what was truly amazing was that he was excited and seemed like he really wanted to tend to his wife as much as he can. Kudos to this man! We surely need more of him.
