Teasing is probably one of the most vital parts of sibling relationships. This is one thing that is similar to any culture. But this particular story plays beyond human’s sibling relationship. This story features a baby girl, Laura, with her pooch brother, Charlie. It was a happy playtime for them. Well, it was supposed to be.
Laura was in her adjustable baby chair the moment Charlie decided that he could make a little bit of teasing. The pooch was so eager to tease that he took a stuffed toy on Laura’s lap. It was the time when they were supposedly sharing toys with each other as siblings. But, Laura did not react the way she was supposed to. The baby girl then cried loudly like she was telling what happened to mom and dad. It was actually a familiar scene! Many siblings probably have already experienced it. When the hurting one started to cry, surely the guilty one would do any possible thing to block the former’s chance to tell every detail of the story to their parents.
Laura the cried out loud. But what made their story differently was the fact that Charlie was just a pooch yet he seemed like he understands guilt well enough already! According to The Telegraph, scientists do not believe that dogs can feel complex emotions such as guilt and shame, despite their apparently guilty faces.
This made Charlie’s antics even more admirable! He then put many different toys and things over the body of his human sister. Apparently, Charlie’s nervous antics worked! By the way, the pooch reacted, he sure was a good brother to Laura, and a loving family to all the rest of them.
