Class reunions are one of those things that makes an adult so excited. Seeing the people you used to talk to, play with and study new things with, after a long time, would really be amazing. You get to tell them what happened to you after graduation and, of course, you get to narrate how far you have come.
But this story will not feature those ideal types of reunions you have imagined all your life. Minda Glazer is a judge of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit Court, Family Division, in Florida. She was elected on September 5, 2000, and her current term expires in January of 2019. With the length of time she was able to serve, she sure did meet many different people. There are tough cases to consider especially when the person involved is someone she knew. Well, that scenario does not happen to her every single day anyway, so it would still be cool.
But one particular person from one particular case she was the judge for, made something to her and to the person what it seemed like would never have had happened to either of them. In the video below, Judge Glazer was more than 50 percent sure that she once knew the man in front of her who also happened to be a burglary suspect.
“Did you go to Nautilus for middle school?”
Arthur just broke down after that very short question from the judge. The Miami judge’s guess was right. Apparently, the burglary suspect was a former classmate of hers back in the middle school and the judge narrated how good Arthur was back then. It was indeed an unexpected type of reunion on a most unexpected scenario. Imagine seeing someone you once knew stand in the other way besides where you are standing. Two classmates from middle school, one stands as the judge in the courtroom and the other one stands as a burglary suspect. Judge Glazer sure has no favorites whatsoever. But after months, the pain actually ended. Arthur already had a chance to be a better person, finally.
