There are probably many people who got their chance to perform their incredible and unique talents in front of so many people. These people have stayed up late for months, just to practice their craft. But there are still performers who undeniably have that unique talent but still are lacking in their self-esteem and the self-assurance that they can make it. One such person auditioned for the television reality talent show, Britain’s Got Talent. While we may have seen a vast number of competitive and heads-raised-high individuals, 22-year-old Gruffydd Wyn Roberts was no similar to them!
He spent months just to prepare for his audition. As he sang his first audition piece, the classic song “Un Giorno Per Noi,” all he ever wanted was to impress the judges with his versatility in singing. But Simon raised his hand to signal that his performance should end right there. As Simon attempted to raise his hand, Gruffydd’s friends were a lot more nervous than him. But he sure wanted that moment so bad. Simon then calmed and assured him. The auditionee even said that he was only six out of ten on how good of a performer he was.
Simon firmly said he wanted an eight from him, or better yet, even more! He then performed an undeniably amazing version of “Nessun Dorma”. Every word he said was just so astounding. His voice was fascinating in every meaning of the word. And after his second attempt, he did not just get mere yeses. Judge Amanda even gave him her only golden buzzer for the season, making him the last golden buzzed for the year. It was apparent that he had a huge talent with him. But it was a huge surprise to see a nervous man impressing all the judges especially, Judge Amanda herself.
After golden confetti has reached the floor, his friends and family went to Gruffydd and embraced him. It was a victory for all of them indeed! Watch his unexpected incredible audition here:
