There are moments when you feel so defeated, you feel like you are a victim of society. There are those times when you just want to shut your room’s door and cry for everything is not in place. For this particular young lady, one event has changed her life forever. Unlike other people’s life-changing event, Hollie Booth’s was on the tragic end. It happened back on May 22 of last year. Some may recognize that particular date so well. Apparently, she and her aunt both got tickets for Ariana Grande’s Manchester concert. But after a quick fun night, there happened, which was probably the most tragic event of their lives.
The moment they went out of the theater, someone triggered an attack that changed many people’s lives. The said attack took the life of Hollie’s aunt, thus, leaving her with serious injuries making her paralyzed. Now, she is confined in her wheelchair. Before the attack, Hollie was a young dancer. She loved to dance and still does! You may be surprised as to how she still does. Unlike other people who cry at home, feeling defeated every single day, Hollie has proved everyone that she has a lot more to offer and that paralysis is nothing compared to how big her dreams are.
One day marked her strongest day after the incident happened. Hollie, together with her group went on the stage of Britain’s Got Talent. They indeed impressed them with their amazing performance. Yes, Hollie danced together with her non-paralyzed group. They all reinvented her wheelchair as a part of their performance. More than her inspiring story, their group just danced so excellently. They have inspired thousands, if not millions of people accepting Hollie as a part of their group. Now, they are in for the next level of the competition!
