Police Officer Halts A Speeding Car, Emotional As He Realizes Something Is Odd

For certain employees, evening shift sucks for they need to work while everybody else is taking their time to rest. You sure want to surf the internet and enjoy a movie sometimes. For a police officer, surely it is a lot tougher. They get to deal with difficult people, those who break the law, either intentional or not. Technically speaking, they get to encounter different kinds of people in just one night.

State Police Officer Toby Lafave was at his evening shift. As he was doing his regular patrol, he came to see a speeding Cadillac. He immediately asked the driver to pull over and instructed her to go out of the car for a quick talk. The police officer was completely baffled especially as he saw that there was a kind in the front seat completely unbuckled. The driver sure seemed like she was in another world. She said that she was just frightened for her six-year-old niece who was in front of the car. With the speed of their car, no one would not be frightened by it.

The police officer then made routine checks with the woman. Upon series of routine tests, the woman failed. As she was proven intoxicated, she was then arrested. But as the little girl went out of the car really frail and tried opening the car trunk, the police officer went to help her. As soon as he opened the trunk, he could barely speak.
“That makes my heart hurt,” he said.

Officer Lafave’s dash camera kept recording what had happened. And the supposedly usual DWI arrest has made the police officer extra emotional. It would really be a terrifying incident for an adult, let alone a child of six years. After Officer Lafave’s recent commendations on his DWI arrests, his name has gone viral with his genuine emotions in this video.

Here, he was not a cop, he was just a genuine man. Watch the video here:
