A father and a son undeniably bond with each other so differently than anyone else. Usually, they form a similar love of sports. But there is still father-and-son tandem that still shares other similar interests. Simon McDermott and father Ted share the same interest in music. It was, since then, one of the things they enjoyed doing together.
But since Ted’s medical condition deteriorated due to his Alzheimer’s disease and dementia, Ted could barely remember the things he used to love. With his condition worsening, Simon knew exactly what he needed to do something to, at least, make the best way of their every single moment together. Apparently, Ted was a renowned singer ever since Simon could remember. Simon then took his dad for a road trip. Little did Ted knew that their road trip would be a “karaoke road trip”.
Together they sang the all-time famous song, “Quando, Quando, Quando.” Though it sure was expected to be a beautiful rendition, they still surpass the expectation. Their musical dynamics as well as how dynamic their bond was, made their captured video even more captivating. It turned out that Ted will surely never forget his love of music. And his talent is still undeniably excellent.
Seeing the two sang like they did in the car, everyone will surely say that nothing can stop a good talent; nothing can stop a good relationship, no matter how many memories you have forgotten. No dementia can stop their beautiful father-and-son relationship.
