Two Male Pianists Makes An Amazing Music Video Of Michael Bolton’s “Go The Distance”

Good music can move mountains, good music can also heal souls. Though people all over the world have different music genres which are on their playlists, still, the very presence of music adds to what makes up their souls. No matter how slow or funky your music is, it will always add something to who you are. Well, we all do love music. Without talking about genres, these two pianists will make us fall in love with their type of music. Aside from that, we will fall in love over again with Disney’s Hercules.

Pianists Kurt Hugo Schneider and Shawn Hook made a video that will make you experience just those. If you are a Disney fan, this video will bring a smile on your face. The two were doing a double piano rendition of “Go the distance” which has been popularly known in the Disney film Hercules. The two men were playing back to back against each other, while Shawn sings the song’s beautiful lyrics:
“I have often dreamed of a far off place
Where a hero’s welcome would be waiting for me
Where the crowds would cheer when they see my face
And a voice keeps saying this is where I’m meant to be.”

Aside from Michael Bolton who recorded the pop version of the song which also fell after the movie, Hercules himself, Ricky Martin has recorded a Spanish version of this for the movie and for his album Vuelve as well. These two have created a vast impact on the whole world, singing this one of the bests Disney songs to have ever been written in history. But these pianists, Kurt and Shawn surely gave the song a nice new rendition.

Shawn was singing while playing the piano. And Kurt was playing his piano while doing equally well with the tempo using a bass drum in his right foot and a tambourine on his left side, tapped by his left hand every now and then. Kurt defined what he was up to, saying:
“I love to experience a great performance–so much so that I want to create my own productions. I love to play with all those elements that go into making something wonderful for me–great music and great visuals. I love to collaborate with my team of musicians and artists to make it all come together as if it were the most natural and easy thing to do in the world. I go for the magic.”

If you also wanted to go for the magic, you should watch this video and be amazed by their talents. Watch it here:
