Back in 2015, this year’s The Voice coach Kelly Clarkson released a song called “Piece by piece”. She co-wrote the said song with its producer Greg Kurstin. This song has been way too symbolical for her, as a woman. Aside from being symbolical, it has made quite a talk at the music industry, especially that it meant her restored trust towards men after marrying her husband, and after a long time dealing with her father’s absence in her life.
Now that The Voice is currently airing, we get to hear a lot of different songs from the blinds up to the ongoing battle rounds. With the vast variety of songs, we really get to remember just a few. But Stephanie Skipper’s audition has made countless reactions after she emotionally sang coach Kelly’s “Piece by piece”. Just after singing the first few lines of the song, coach Kelly just became so emotional hearing the familiar song. She was really crying.
And it was not just the beautifully-written song that encapsulated her emotions. Stephanie really delivered the song as her own, thus making a beautiful story out of it. Without being said, she was undeniably a great singer. Her performance has also made quite an impression on the judges. That was probably the main reason why two out of four coaches turned for her.
